In the spirit and ethos of Shiatsu, protecting your privacy is important to me. When communicating with me, I will only ask for information that is relevant to my engagement with you. Whilst I support and encourage the health and wellbeing of individuals, and I do encourage people to provide me with health information (special category data), when filling out a consultation form at the start of any work that we will do together, I can assure you any personal data you share with me will be used in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

That is, it will be held and kept safely by me and no other party shall have access to that information unless specified and prior agreement is sought and consent given by you.

If we ever make significant changes to the process or location of processing, we will give you the opportunity to amend your communication preference.

What is done with the information gathered

This information is required to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular, for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping.
Information may be used to improve our products and services.
I may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information, which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
From time-to-time, I may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. I may contact you by email, phone, or mail.

Retention

We will only retain personal data for as long as is necessary, with review periods in place to meet our obligations. I delete or destroy all personal data in a secure and timely manner.
